Editing an Interview

Summary

For this project, I watch Mr LeDuc’s array of tutorials that he provided to learn the basics of Premier Pro and edit his interview with James Clark. I started by watching through the entire 40 minute interview while noting down moments that i found important and or interesting. After this was done, I cut out all of the extra material. I did this until the video was close to the 2 minute mark. After this I cut out all of the Uhms and Ahhs and added B-roll to cover the jump cuts. After this process was complete, I was left with a fully edited interview.

What I Learned

Over the course of this project, I learned the basics of video editing in premier pro. These skills will be a massive benefit in the future if a team member who is editing a project is absent.
