Intention (SMART Goal)
My goal was to make a hype hip hop track.

Ocean Beats. I get a lot of inspiration and ideas from this producer who I watch on youtube.
Project Timeline
For the first few weeks I made the backing track and wrote lyrics for the song. In the final week I recorded and mixed the song.

POST-PRODUCTION – REFLECTION
21st Century Skills
Ways of Thinking (Creativity, Innovation, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving)
I found that during the chorus the overlapping vocals were piercing to the ear so after some trouble shooting i was able to EQ the so that there was less high end overlapping while the vocals played. I also lowered the volume.

I was able to use GarageBand to create a track and record and mix vocals.

I set a my goal on finishing lyrics for a song and before I knew it I ended up with a full song!
Reactions to the Final Version
People seemed to enjoy my presentation. I unfortunately didn’t receive any critique but I personally noticed that my mixing could improve.
Self-Evaluation of Final Version
As I said when talking about reactions. I really thing that my mix could improve. The hi-hats are a little to loud and the volume levels are not as consistent as they could be.
What I Learned and Problems I Solved
I learned that when I sit down and work, I can accomplish way more than I think.
